Head to the intersection of 33rd Street and Broadway to check out Broadway Bites, running until July 26th and open 11am to 9pm daily! We were so excited to get to check out so many vendors on one of the first opening days of Broadway Bites. Here’s the rundown on some of our favorites! Bar Suzette Bar Suzette has got the UrbanSpace market thing down. You’re bound to see them at most of their markets and it is hard to tell the difference between sitting at a restaurant bar or the Bar Suzette booth at Broadway Bites. They are serving up a full menu with wayyy more than just crepes! Of course the nutella crepes are one of their most popular choices but if you’re in the mood for something savory try their bistro burger. This burger has all of the toppings, including caramelized onions, bacon, mushrooms, cheese and a fried egg! Every burger is cooked to order so you know it will be hot, juicy and delicious! Consider ordering a little pick me up cocktail to go with that burger, we love the raspberry mojito. The Nugget Spot at Broadway Bites As I mentioned in my preview to Broadway Bites article I have been waiting to try Nugget Spot for some time now, so I was thrilled that they would be at the Urban Space Broadway Bites. Although I initially wanted to try the Cap’n Crunk nugget on the day I visited the stand they only had their Southern Belle nuggets. But not to worry, I believe they’ll have different nuggets everyday so there’s even more reason to head back day after day! The Southern Belle is like their version of a classic nugget except taken to the next level with special seasoned flour and BBQ dipping sauce. I even got to try out one of their CSB’s a fried chocolate and vanilla cookie dough ball crusted with pretzels, heavenly! It seemed like everyone we passed said we had to try out Renegade Lemonade. The strawberry basil lemonade is where it’s at! This is one of the most popular flavors and with good reason, it’s delicious! You’ll always find the strawberry basil and the peach mint flavors at the market but they’ll have two more flavors for sale that will rotate everyday. Now that I know about the awesome drinks at Renegade Lemonade I can’t wait to try more, I’m going back for the Watermelon Jalapeno! You can ever get your lemonade over crushed ice for the most delicious slushy ever. Zha Asiancini at Broadway Bites I think its safe to say I’m taking my relationship with Zha to the next level, we’re not just casually seeing each other, we’re in love. But in all seriousness these Asaincini are everything I could’ve hoped for and more. It all started with the K-poppers, which are kimchi fried rice balls, just some of my favorite flavors married together beautifully in a fried morsel. What really brought home for me was the fried coconut rice pudding ball topped with homemade lemon curd. These dreamy bites are rich without being too sweet and the perfect size treat for anytime.
