Junior’s Cheesecake & Desserts – Brooklyn Strong

Being a cheesecake lover, I can only describe it as faith that I found Junior’s Cheesecake & Desserts. It was introduced to me by a friend at work, and I guess you can say the rest is history. I ordered a slice of strawberry cheesecake and was hooked after the first bite. The ingredients and texture of the cake was in perfect harmony. Usually, I tend to find an issue with everything I eat, especially desserts but the graham crackers weren’t too hard or dry, and it added to the soft texture of the cake, and the strawberry sauce tied everything together. I mean, how many times can you eat the same thing on a daily basis and not get sick of it?   Personally I can’t even eat the same thing twice in a row, but somehow I managed to eat a slice of cheesecake from Junior’s every day for a whole week. My addiction got so bad that I was forced to try something else by my friends, which led me to try the chocolate fudge brownie!  I know it sounds like torture.   My two favorite things, chocolate and brownies.  Mouthwatering is definitely an understatement when used to describe this dessert. The brownie was soft, chocolaty and warm, and the temperature of the brownies made it more desirable because it was almost like it melted in your mouth. They also suggest that you have ice cream with your brownie –  that way you have a mixture of hot and cold, which heightens your taste buds. Though Junior’s is known for their cheesecakes, and various desserts, their chef specials are worth indulging. I strongly recommend the Asian Chicken Breast which is marinated chicken served over white rice and broccoli – This dish  is as good as it gets!  The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating for customers who may want to enjoy the scenery while they eat or those who feels more comfortable in a more intimate setting. Either way, Junior’s caters to the needs of all their customers, from the desert lovers to the sight seers, and make sure their experience is a memorable one.
