Dig Inn has really outdone themselves this season, they are using all sorts of ingredients in new and fall festive ways. Be sure to try the Kale Granola salad with house made rosemary walnut granola, it is my favorite pick there of the season.

Many of their fall specialties are roasted to enhance their delicious flavor and natural sweetness.   • Fall Farro Bowl with arugala, sweet potatoes, local goat cheese, organic portabello mushrooms and pumpkin seeds
  • Sweet Mama with baby spinach, local apples, local white cheddar, turkey bacon and honey walnuts
  • Grilled Salmon Harvest with mesclun lettuce, sustainable grilled salmon, local cucumbers, sweet potato, wheat berries and dried cranberries
  • Autumn Cesar with local roasted chicken, Bartlett pears, shaved Parmesan, dried cranberries and multigrain croutons

Now through the end of December Schnitz will be serving a delicious seasonal sandwich that gives back! Schnitz Partnered with the Mario Batali Foundation to support children’s literacy, hunger relief and child disease research. And even better yet, this sandwich will satisfy!

Batali Schnitz with Italian sweet fennel sausage schnitzel, Asiago cheese, caramelized fennel, pickled cipollini onions, and balsamic sweet garlic aioli.

Semsom is always the perfect option for a fresh and filling lunch and now you can try even more seasonal flavors at their Astor Place location. Try their famous Taouk Chicken which isn’t seasonal but is always delicious! Make sure to check out their hot soups for the colder months!

Seasonal Salads

  • Freekeh salad: A freekeh base with plum tomatoes, coriander, radish, green pepper, fresh mint, cucumbers, cauliflower and cranberries.
  • Lentil salad: Green lentils with plum tomatoes, fresh mint, yellow and green bell pepper, cucumbers and celery.
  • Winter tabouleh: A tabouleh made with lentils for a hearty winter flavor.
