Though I am a total foodie at heart, always on the lookout for new restaurants and foodie events happening in the city, I still find the most joy in my own kitchen. Nothing brings me more pleasure than creating a dish of my own and sharing it with those I love. With that said, cooking classes are obviously the true key to my heart, as they combine my greatest joy as well as giving me an opportunity to meet new people with similar interests and gain cooking skills all at once! Ironically enough, I didn’t have to go far at all to find my new favorite cooking classes. Just down the block from the Eat Up New York headquarters is Taste Buds Kitchen.

Taste Buds Kitchen, which opened its Flagship NYC Kitchen in 2007, is a custom-designed Kitchen Event Studio. By day, they feature events and classes for kids and by night they turn into a BYOB Adult Kitchen.

For us adults, Taste Buds Kitchen offers BYOB Cooking Classes featuring classic themes such as Steakhouse and Italian, as well as unique ones like “Let’s Brunch” and a new “Handmade Pasta class.” No prior cooking experience is necessary; they just ask that you come hungry and ready for some culinary fun!
